A regular service of your vehicle is a very important part of preventative maintenance and should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturers service intervals.
At Crawley Autofit we generally offer 3 levels of servicing namely BRONZE, SILVER OR GOLD. The type of service you need really depends on the previous service history of the vehicle and also depends on the annual mileage being covered.
A BRONZE service will typically include replacement of the engine oil and oil filter in addition to various top ups and visual checks in accordance with an industry standard check list
A SILVER service is more involved and includes replacement of Engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs if it is a petrol engine. In addition to this there are a multitude of checks including a full brake inspection, check and top up of all levels, checking of tyres, lights etc. Once again this is done using an industry standard check list provided by the GOOD GARAGE SCHEME.
A GOLD service includes all of the above and in addition to this will also include a cabin filter, an oil flush prior to oil change, a fuel treatment upon completion of service and a full electronic health check with a printed diagnostic report. Naturally we can tailor any service in accordance with your needs but If you are unsure then please ask a member of staff and we will be happy to offer any help or advice.
In the event that any additional work should arise from our technician’s inspection of your vehicle, please be assured that we will never carry out any work without authorization from you and any additional costs will always be quoted.
In the interest in transparency It is also our company policy to retain all old parts for your inspection until collection of the vehicle.
All parts and lubricants used are of OE (Original equipment) quality and as we a Forte service Centre, we can provide a wide range of additives and oil flushes which are extremely effective in cleaning engines and fuel systems internally
